ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ — ಇವೆರಡರಲ್ಲೂ ಮಾಡು ಧಾತು, ಉತ್ತ ಕಾಲಸೂಚಕ ಒಂದೇ; ಬದಲಾಗಿರುವುದು ಕೊನೆಯ ತುಂಡು ಮಾತ್ರ. ಆ ಕೊನೆಯ ತುಂಡೇ ಆಖ್ಯಾತ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯ — ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.
Compare ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ and ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ: the root and tense marker are identical; only the final piece changes. That final piece is the ಆಖ್ಯಾತ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯ (personal ending) — it tells you who is acting: person, number, and in the 3rd person, gender.

ವರ್ತಮಾನದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ: ಉತ್ತಮ ಪುರುಷ — ಏನೆ (ನಾನು), ಏವೆ (ನಾವು); ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಪುರುಷ — ಈಯೆ (ನೀನು), ಈರಿ (ನೀವು); ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪುರುಷ — ಆನೆ (ಅವನು), ಆಳೆ (ಅವಳು), ಅದೆ (ಅದು), ಆರೆ (ಅವರು), ಅವೆ (ಅವು).
The present-tense ending matrix: 1st person ಏನೆ (I), ಏವೆ (we); 2nd person ಈಯೆ (you sg.), ಈರಿ (you pl./respectful); 3rd person ಆನೆ (he), ಆಳೆ (she), ಅದೆ (it), ಆರೆ (they, people), ಅವೆ (they, things). Gender matters only in the 3rd person singular — exactly the agreement you drilled in Arc A.
ಭೂತ-ಭವಿಷ್ಯತ್ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೇ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬದಲಾದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ: ಎನು, ಎವು, ಎ, ಇರಿ, ಅನು, ಅಳು, ಇತು/ಉದು, ಅರು, ಅವು. ಉದಾ: ಮಾಡಿದನು, ಮಾಡುವನು.
In the past and future the same matrix appears in a slightly different shape: ಎನು, ಎವು, ಎ, ಇರಿ, ಅನು, ಅಳು, ಇತು (past neuter) / ಉದು (future neuter), ಅರು, ಅವು — e.g. ಮಾಡಿದನು, ಮಾಡುವನು. You will derive each set fully in the coming lessons.
